Quality Control
Quality Control (QC) is where your team records samples taken from the field and from store, and reviews the results. It only appears when the Quality Control feature is switched on for your team.
Where to find it
In the left sidebar under Record Keeping, click Quality Control. A panel opens beside the sidebar with two headings:
- Samples lists one page per sample type you can view.
- Reporting holds the Defect Overview chart.
If you're new to the sidebar, see Getting around.
What's there
Sample type pages. Each sample type has its own list of samples, with search, sort and filters. If you have permission to add samples, there is also a button to create one.
Exporting samples. Every sample type page has an Export button that downloads its samples as Excel. For sample types built for your team it opens an Export dialog: Columns chooses how much to include (Summary, Full, or a named view set up for that type), and you can narrow the export to particular companies, plantings or stores.
Defect Overview. A bar chart of the average defect index from store defect samples this season, across the teams chosen in the sidebar. Filter it by Grower and Variety, and switch between grouping by Store (bay) or Field (planting). It only appears when your team records store defect samples.
Setting up sample types. Super-admins build sample types and manage the named export views. The builder is under Super Admin › Sample Types, and named views are managed with the Report views button on a sample type page.
