Storage
Guides for setting up sites and potato stores, recording stock and its movements, and logging visits, cleaning inspections and treatments.
All the Storage pages live in one place. In the sidebar, under Record Keeping, click Storage. The section panel opens beside the sidebar, listing Sites, Potato Stores, Store Inventory, Visits and Cleaning Inspections. Teams that use delivery tickets also see Delivery Tickets. If you're new to the sidebar, see Getting around the app.
Every list page has the same toolbar along the top: a search box, Sort, Filter (on every page except Sites), Export and Create. The title shows how many records match.
Storage
The pages in the Storage section panel.
- Creating a site — Set up the farms and yards that potato stores belong to.
- Creating a potato store — Add a store with its type, cooling, capacity and container type.
- Store Inventory — Every stock across your stores, and the dialog for adding stock and recording its movements.
- Potato Store Visits — The table of every store visit, and the dialog for recording one.
- Cleaning Inspections — The pre-load cleaning checklist.
- Delivery Tickets — Record each load leaving the store, which books the stock out for you.
The sidebar also has a separate Visits › Store Visits page. It shows the same store visits as cards, where people can comment on and like them. See Field Visits and Store Visits.
Potato Store Actions
Tasks you reach from the menu on a row of the Potato Stores list, plus the per-store report.
- Potato Store Configuration — Pick which readings are asked for on each visit.
- Loading Date — Record when the store started loading this season.
- Configuring bays — Add and edit the bays inside a store.
- Exporting store history — Download a store's PDF report, and compare stores on the Store Metrics page.
Store View
Each potato store has a view with a tab bar covering everything recorded against it. One guide per tab:
- Details tab — The store's dashboard: storage risk, latest temperature, last treatment, tonnage, cleaning inspection, and the temperature, runtime, energy and movement charts.
- Stocks tab — The stock held in this store.
- Treatments tab — Sprout-suppression treatments applied in this store.
- Visits tab — Visits to this store, shown as cards.
- Maps tab — Uploaded store layout files.
If your team uses Quality Control, the store view also has a QC Samples tab. It has one sub-tab for each sample type your team uses, listing the samples taken from this store. A guide to QC samples is coming soon.
Users who can see storage risk also get a coloured risk band next to the store's name and a Current Storage Risk card on the Details tab. See Storage risk for what the bands mean.
